Singles of Solano is a social group. We provide opportunities for single people to get together and socialize in friendly, safe, and fun environments.

Welcome to Singles of Solano. We encourage you to make Singles of Solano a part of your social life. Please review this letter to orientate yourself to the club.

How to Become Involved:

When you receive your monthly newsletter, circle the events that you would like to attend. Put them on your calendar or refrigerator so you will remember to attend. Call the hotline for updates at 707-438-1207. Look forward to email reminders of our events. Many members enjoy the small group activities that happen throughout the month. It is an easy, comfortable way to become involved in the club.

Help out. There are many opportunities to volunteer. We need volunteers to help sign people in at events, decorate/clean-up before and after events... We also have club officers and board members. Lend us your expertise! Be on the board. It's a six-month term and a great way to be involved. The club is 100 percent volunteers - be one of them!

The more events you attend, the more people you meet, the more fun it will be...

Sponsor Events:

A great way to meet people and to get involved is to sponsor events. Anyone can sponsor an event. What would you like to do? Where would you like to go? Put the event on the calendar and enjoy it with other members! Here's how to sponsor or co-sponsor events:

  • Attend the monthly calendar planning meeting.
  • Submit the date, time, meeting place, cost and a brief description of the event. Include what members need to bring, if anything (food, drinks, chairs...).
  • Make arrangements if needed - reservations...
  • Enjoy the event with Singles of Solano friends!
Dating:

Some of our members date; some don't. If someone does not want to date, please respect his or her wishes in this matter. The focus of the club is to provide social activities for singles. We do have several couples in the club who enjoy attending our events. Whether you are dating or not, make Singles of Solano a part of your social life!

Inappropriate Behavior:

Occasionally, since we are open to the public, we get a few people who need to be asked to leave the club. To ensure that you are not one of these few, please refrain from the following. Fighting, verbally or physically, at club events will not be accepted. Please keep a positive attitude.

Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. This would include any unwanted sexual advances, physically or verbally. Any behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile or an offensive environment is not allowed. Respect people's personal space. Remember, this is a social club and not a dating club. If you find a special someone, great! If they do not feel the same way, then do not pursue it.

The focus of the club is to build friendships and get out of the house!
